Shapour Daneshmand and Adam Carr had the fun idea of collaborating with any LA and surrounding Redusers on a project for the 4K Portrait exhibition at NAB 2012 in April.

Further discussion can take place in this thread for anyone in the area who would like to be involved. Sharp our has offered to host a meet/greet at his house in Pomona on a yet TBD date.

Thank you David for finally starting this Thread.
here is my suggestion:
I believe there are tons of potential within this group beyond the 4K competition.
I thing we should all get together as soon as physically possible for every one.
as i mentioned in my email, i'm willing to host this gathering and also will provide food and drink for every one.
please lets collaborate to come up with a date.
thanks

I'm in for anything and everything.

Im interested.

I'd be interested in helping any of you guys out with B-cam and such when you guys decide on something. I'll try to make the meet if time permits.

Also, I've come up with a concept and scheduled to shoot several scenes out of town this Sunday. I might need some help from one or two others on Monday or Tuesday when I'm back in town. If interested, please let me know? Thanks.

Btw, I look forward to meeting many of you guys around LA. Good thread!

Shapour,
Would love to meet up and discuss plans over dinner/ meet and greet. I think thats the best way to get any kind of consensus about what we would be shooting for the contest. I really hope I get my Scarlet before NAB. And Prince....I would love to help out on any shoots you have, but next week might be tough for me. Keep me updated though.

Prince, let me know the what/when/where for Monday/Tuesday, and I'll give you a hand if I can.

Dear Scarlet LA members,
please lets concentrate on coming up with a date for our first meeting.
thank you all.

Right now I'm available any day this weekend or next week - Then I'm out of town for a gig 2/24 - 2/27.

I recommend we also take a poll on location- while Shapour has generously offered his house in Pomona, the distance may greatly affect how many may actually attend.

how does sunday Feb 19th at 6 PM sound?
please lets vote on this date and time.
thanks
