  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi!
When I open a Red full Proxy in Quicktime it shows that the bitrate is around 220mbit/s. When I use Log & Transfer to transcode into ProRes it makes files with bitrates around 800 mbit/s!
How can it be like this? In my mind it should be smaller or atleast equal.
How do I fix this?

ProRes bit rates are set and can't be changed. The HQ bit rate is only 220 so you must be looking at something different for the 800 number.
 
Size? Frame-rate?
