Selling a KOWA PROMINAR ANAMORPHIC 40mm Lens PL mount
Selling a beautiful vintage anamorphic lens. This lens was bought off REDUSER Chris Probst.
It includes a Wide Angle Attachment, a 1.5x Extender, and a set of 77mm screw on Diopters, and a Marking disc in case you want to turn into a 32mm semi-permananetly. (Note. The lens doesn't have 77mm screw in , but you can get it done at Duclos) (I never used the 1.5x extender, from my tests it doesn't work on this lens, unless you crop in significantly, im guessing it works on 50mm above Kowas.
Everything fits into a small handheld pelican 1500 which I am including in the sale.
This lens was used for one Feature Film, a few music videos, and now it needs a new home.
I am not a lens tech but I can vouch that the lens is ready to use.
Here is a link to a video I shot last year on it, you might want to mute it if your not into dembow

I could blabber on how great this lens is, but I am sure anyone buying this knows how great these little anamorphics are. I am asking $ 23,000 for the lens and all the accessories included. I will accept offers
Email me if its easier: egvalencia@me.com
