This is a custom made Wide Angle adapter for a Kowa Cine Prominar Anamorphic 40mm T2.3. This was designed by Dulcos Lenses to thread directly into original Kowa Anamorphic 40mm T2.3 to convert it into a 32mm T2.3! Duclos fabricated the 114mm front as well as the custom cut threads to screw directly into the front threads on the Kowa 40mm.
The reasons for this design is that it's the only way to get complete S35 coverage with the 40mm. This adapter aligns the optics closer than any other adapter for best possible image quality. Almost all other wide angle adapters will vignette. Not only is this adapter the sharpest match optically, but it has the best image circle of any adapter. It's also conveniently a standard 114mm front.
Only selling because we no longer have Kowa Anamorphics in their original housings, and this adapter was made specifically for the original Kowa housing.
Near Mint condition. No scratches, no cleaning marks, no fungus, no haze. Barrel shows almost no signs of use.It's like new!
