SOLD - thanks everyone!
I have a set of Kowa Prominar Anamorphics in amazing shape I unfortunately have to let go of to fund another project. The lenses have been fully overhauled. Glass is clean and clear. Sorry I don't have more photos of the elements, will get them shortly, but they are in excellent shape. The lenses have been evaluated and projected by both TCS and Abel Cine here in NYC with a clean bill of health. Color matches great, contrast and detail is very good and matches very well considering the age of the glass. Cosmetically and mechanically the lenses are flawless.
Front anamorphic element will give you traditional anamorphic bokeh and horizontal flaring, although not as crazy as the lomos, you can still backlight your subject =)
These are also the smallest and lightest anamorphics available, ideal for steadicam or handheld. I've included pictures comparing them to Lomo (Powerscope) for size.
Set includes:
I am having custom-machined aluminum 80mm fronts made (kowas are natively 74mm), they should be available mid-late november and included in the sale.
Lenses are available to see in person at TCS New York. Please PM/email me for price and details.
Cheers,
