This is a very high quality film and an effective one at achieving it's goals, but...
From the first minute of watching it I was waiting when the speaker will ask me to donate something. He also uses his little son as an effective plot device to communicate certain ideas and there are tens of other little tricks that filmmakers perform during this "experiment" as they call it.
No child should suffer from actions of people like Kony and the cause is 100% right, but while watching this piece I couldn't help but notice all the "instruments" that is used to communicate certain messages and try to make them stick with the viewer.
P.S.: People like Kony are not operating alone, they have their own army of followers. Making him a scapegoat seems right, but the fundamental problem is, once he's eliminated, another guy will take his place, these "communities" are very hard to stop, it's the same with what's happening in Caucasus and in Middle East.
