Komodo X / canon .71 speed booster issues

The canon .71 focal reducer (EF to RF) is actually touching and scratching the material around the sensor on brand new komodo x... it's like the rear metal element of the booster sticks out too far. Is anyone else having this issue?

The image looks clean and the auto focus works... I'm slightly worried about the scratched off material getting on the sensor... Any solutions out there? or is there another speed booster that will fit and keep auto focus?

This is actually a known issue:

“WARNING:
Certain RF lenses or adapters have larger protruding rear elements than others, below is a list of lenses that while compatible do cause slight abrasions to the sensor cover mask on KOMODO-X. This does not have any impact to the function of the mask other than cosmetically.

Is this also an issue for the Metabons Speedbooster Cine 0.71 EF RF?
