Hi, so since all Komodo batteries, v mount solutions and everything is out of stock (pls send me links where it isn’t) I am trying Jupio 955 and 975 batteries.

When I fully charge them they work for 2 minutes and then the camera turns off and keeps rebooting until I take off the batteries. Does anyone have an idea why this is and knows alternative options that are in stock in Europe?

Broken battery? or corrupted data sent from battery to camera? without other battery, it is hard to say if there is a problem in camera itself.

Be careful with bad batteries. I had a battery that went randomly from 16.2v to 2.6v and killed the base extender module of my dsmc2 weapon (the pin where melted down). The shutdown repowering cycle also happened to me. Don’t let it happen.

Ya, I tried some of the Watson batteries on my Komodo and every time I hit record it would restart the Komodo and corrupt the current footage on the CFast card. Cheap batteries can do some BS.

I have the same issue with original canon bp-915. they work when they are fully charged, but start showing issues at around 80% charge.

So to answer everybody who helped me. I think it isn't a faulty battery since I got some brand new Jupios and the same issue persists. I think it's an issue because the camera can't communicate with the batteries so it thinks they are empty after a certain time.

I still can't find any decent 975's or 955's. I heard Blueshape is creating new ones that are in the process of getting approved. In the meantime I ordered a Tilta Dual BP to V-mt plate and bought a FXlion One Vmt . I'm using it with a Dtap to DC cable untill the plate arrives.
