I currently have it set up where when I press record on my Arri Alexa classic, the timecode out cable sends a record trigger to my Sound Devices MixPre 6 II. Can this be set up on the Komodo to send a timecode run record trigger to my MixPre 6II? Thanks.

If the Komodo has TC out, then yes.
If not... depends on if Komodo has an HDMI out with the recorder trigger that is recognized by the MixPre?

Komodo only has SDI out. I just read in the manual that edge code timecode is the same as Record Run. So yes, it should work as in my Alexa.

Komodo can do TC out/in over EXT port so if you get an EXT to 3.5mm cable and do 3.5mm TC in on the MixPre6II it should work? But you would probably want to have recording triggered from the MixPre since it has a proper TC generator on board.

I haven't had a chance to test but pretty sure it should work as long as Komodo can except record trigger from EXT port. I don't like having sound recorder mounted to the camera so I just keep my recorder in an audio bag strapped to me and use Tentacles to keep it all in sync. Rarely am I carrying the camera and audio stuff around me like this though. Usually more if you are mounting the camera somewhere and audio somewhere else. For a camera mounted mic I just run it to the audio in on the Komodo. The limiters are nice to have on the MixPre but you are only going to get a certain level of audio quality with a camera mounted mic anyway.
