Komodo side record button not functioning.

Hi fellow RED user friends,

Last monday I have received my Komodo and noticed that whatever I do my Komodo side record button will not do anything when pressed whatever I do. Factory reset, updating firmware, holding while turning on, nothing works to get it to life. Does anyone know if I there is a lock option on the button or that this is just an DOA? Could not find anything regarding this in the manual. Almost look like a DOA since no reaction from the side record button whatsoever. The phone record button on the app and on touchscreen works flawless.

I'm a Komodo owner, not aware of any way to disable the side record button. (And I don't see anything about it in the manual, either.)

So I think yours is probably defective, unfortunately.

Def. dead. Possibly easy fix (I've fixed one on my Scarlet MX myself).

Thank you for your reaction. It was deff indeed defective and luckily it was just 5 days delivered so it has been Swapped by CVP. Many thanks for the confirmation it should be defective, thought I saw something wrong in settings.
