  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Komodo shipping?

From what I’m understanding orders that even expect their Komodo shipping in February even got the status changing to “Received”.

I hope it still means things are moving and that we can be happy tomorrow receiving a shipping confirmation.

This is starting to look like another delay, I thought RED was finally making some progress with the next batch.

I'm hoping that I can give my 800mm lens a workout soon... I want to go bird and bighorn "hunting" before I move to BC... and start "hunting" for wolverines in Jasper :)

Same. I ordered on Nov. 20 from B&H and the best info I've gotten out of them to date was “The best estimate we got from contacting the manufacturer was you order would likely be fulfilled around late February.”

'Likely', 'around', and 'late' are words that don't inspire much confidence in getting this thing before spring. That was on 1/18.
 
Those of you that have received your shipping notices did you order directly from Red before Nov.3rd?
 
From what I'm seeing, orders are about 13-14 weeks out - with some orders (directly from Red) placed on the 23rd-25th of Oct getting shipping notices in the last 48 hours. Red rep said this week that my mid-Nov order should ship the third week of Feb.

I ordered mine directly from RED on the 23rd of October and received my shipping notice yesterday.
 
I haven’t received any notification about shipping at all and I ordered on Oct 24. But a few people who ordered on the 25th already received that shipping notification. I was told by one of the reps I would receive an email in the following days.
 
Hope you will receive yours real soon.. I can imagine that sucks. Just a little bit longer Larrie

Like Denley, I ordered directly from Red on October 23rd and got my shipping confirmation yesterday. Fedex shows scheduled delivery on Monday.

FedEx has been heavily randomized lately also though; I've had some deliveries arrive a day or two early, some arrive a week late. I'm just hoping that
this shipment isn't late :)
 
Mine shows a delivery of Wednesday and that’s not even that bad because I live in Europe (Amsterdam)

It seems like quite a few got shipped this week, also good news.
