KOMODO Release Build 1.5.5 October 11, 2021

For those that that missed the update yesterday, new fresh out of the kitchen Komodo firmware.

SIGNIFICANT CHANGES SINCE PREVIOUS BUILD

• Fixed playback stuttering at high frame rates
• Fixed German SLA causing camera shutdown
• Fixed RGB RAW meters in 6K FF
• Improved LCD sync issues in Playback with Anamorphic formats
• General stability improvements

I just updated and after restarting the camera a third time (the two-step update process + one more aftwards) received multiple "calibration failed" messages. I rebooted the camera again and now it appears to be running the calibration.

Also, the T/E were not showing up on the top of the LCD or in the RED Control app but after the most recent restart (the 4th throughout this process) they are now appearing.

I have no idea if this is useful in any way but thought I would report it.

I cannot change the write permissions on the CF fast card to write to put the FW on. I'm sure I've overcome that in the past but spent too long trying already so someone please put me out of my misery ...

This update seems like a maintenance release. When is the next feature release? Non-beta AF? Metadata for stabilization? Etc…

You have to unlock the card reader
