Komodo Media Write Speed Error

Hey everybody - my Komodo consistently errors out when the card is 2 minutes from full. I've got two 512GB RED-brand Cfast cards, and both experience the error. I've tried updating firmware, hard resetting the camera; I've tested it with the Red-brand AC adapter plugged into the wall; no dice. Camera's out of warranty, too. Am I screwed?

I have not experienced this on the Komodo CFast cards but I have experienced this a few times on my Komodo X CFexpress cards.
I actually experienced it earlier today while filming slow motion.
Not sure but I think it's one card in particular that does this and I notice it come up more when I'm shooting
in PreRecord and 5K/6K High frame rate shots or 4K with higher compression.

It usually goes away but it could definitely be an issue with critical shots.

If you are experiencing it consistently in the last 2 minutes of the card it likely has to do with the card slowing down as it fills up.
I've seen SSDs and cards on other types of media and cameras do similar.

On the bright side, at least you got 99% out of your card if it's the last 2 minutes.

I doubt anything is wrong with your Komodo.

Be sure though to save the log file in case you want to send this to RED Support.
They need that file to know what was going on in the Komodo leading up to the error.
