  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi,

I have a Komodo and Link adaptor. I'm planning on hooking up USB-C to Ethernet > Mac Mini (late 2014 limited to macOS 10.15).

I'd like to be able to remote control this setup using TeamViewer (as I can't guarantee port forwarding) to be able to adjust camera settings and trigger record. Basically desktop version of Red Control. Is that a thing? If not are there other options?

Update: answer is yes, all the usual camera controls (including lens focus, audio monitor, rec start stop etc) are available at the camera's IP address in any browser. Should've checked this before posting! Also, the full 1280x720 res preview is at the same IP (in Communication > Komodo Link menu) port 9090.
