Scant info on this. Has anybody tested the komodo link adapter for any improvement over wi-fi?

It's been glitchy lately.

I have 2 Komodo's both with the link adapter. I'm using them so that each camera has a phone connected which allows full control of the camera as well as a second monitor. In my experience, the Link adapter video feed freezes more often through the use of the link adapter, than through wifi. Not sure why this would be, but it's a bit frustrating.

That's really odd. Question, so why not just use Red Control over wifi? The link adapter still has better latency?

Seems like the Portkeys Komodo monitor is the way to go.

I found that using the link adapter with Red Control on a phone would cause frequent crashes of the Komodo itself before firmware 1.5.4. It has been stable enough on 1.5.5 so far. I get paranoid too that someone will connect to the camera's WiFi and mess with things during a shoot. I generally use a Cine7 for monitoring and the Red Control app on a phone to have some hot buttons/presets.

Are there any specific IOS versions or Komodo Firmware versions needed to run the Link Adapter? Just purchased it and I'm not able to connect.
