Komodo Doesn't Send Timecode Out

I'm trying to setup my Komodo to send timecode out to a recorder so it can trigger record on my MixPre6 II whenever I press record on the camera. As far as I can tell, Komodo doesn't send timecode out. I had a custom cable made with the pinout diagram from RED to send timecode out from the camera. According to RED's pinout diagram, pin #2 is timecode out. I tested the cable with a meter and the wiring is correct, but yet no matter how I configure it, I cannot get my MixPre6 II to receive any timecode at all from Komodo. Not even TOD timecode.

On my Alexa, I set the camera to REC RUN timecode, and whenever I press record on the camera, it triggers my MixPre6 II to start recording. I can easily start and stop recording on my MIxPre from the camera's timecode out. Does anyone know if Komodo firmware has enabled timecode out from the camera yet? I know that according to RED's diagram the camera is wired to do so and is supposedly capable. Thanks

Sadly I was right. I heard back from RED and this is what they said:

“Unfortunately there's no way to output timecode from KOMODO as it stands. We normally see customers syncing both the camera and audio recorders to third party timecode devices for this type of configuration on KOMODO.”

I sure hope RED adds this feature in the near future.

I use a Tentacle Sync with my MixPre. Works really well.

Yes, thank you, I know this works well, but you need to press record and stop on both the camera and the MixPre for every take. I'd like to be able to mount my MixPre on my camera rig and have my camera trigger the audio recorder just like I can easily do on my Alexa. Maybe down the road RED will enable this feature as nearly every other pro camera can output timecode.

yeah, that's a bit of an inconvenience...but....using the bluetooth to link my cellphone to the MixPre, it's trivial to press record when I start recording with the Komodo. If both are synced, it's a done deal.
