Komodo autofocus

I got a Canon 15-35 RF, but the autofocus doesn't seem to work at all. Am I missing something?
I checked and Kmodo has autofocus ON and the lens as well ... so I am at a loss. Any ideas?

I usually need to click "Start Autofocus" in the auto focus menu.
