  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Kippon Epic lens mounts

The Red new aluminum mount is only $200 more, and I GUARANTEE better. Plus, it's not just a dumb mount like this one, which would not even let you change iris at all.

I didn't realize the (cheap) Red canon mount was out yet. I want a cheap dumb mount. I have no need to control electronic lenses. These guys have a nikon mount as well.

There you go, the cinemods Nikon mount fits the bill. Again, I don't need or want to use electronic control of still lenses. There are just some specialty lenses that can't be had in PL mount affordabley that would sometimes be nice to be able to use. $450 sounds perfect.

Thanks Brad.

Another Red approved mount

Another Red approved mount

The Red AL Canon mount is amazing, and worth the money. That could be cheap plastic shit that voids your warranty. Totally worth spending an extra $200.

The only non-red mounts that I think are red approved of are

http://cinemods.com/
and
http://spacecam-accessories.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/leica-m-series-lens-mount
just to keep the record straight Optitek Nikon ProLock mount is approved as well.
Positive locking a'la PL with standard unmodified Nikon F mount lenses, Iris control for auto iris lenses in the mount, etc, etc. In stock....
