Killing the Phone in Theatres

I go to McDonalds, the customer can't put down the phone long enough to make the order. People having unpleasant phone conversation on public transportation during the morning commute. I could go on.

Seemingly, unless there is an app, people seem remiss and confused about basic courtesy and etiquette.

In the premier of Guardians of the Galaxy 2: At the top of his voice because of the dialogue "Hey, Jarred, it's hard to hear you, I'll talk louder.. great film, the camera you sold these guys works brilliantly. The space craft never looked so good, did they film this from the space shuttle or something.. whose this your cousins nephew, nooo nephew. you gave me your number of that golf trip... no no not gulf trip, golf, gentlemen allowed ladies forbidden... What you mean it's hard to hear, there's some retard yelling down the front row... Where am I.. at the premier.. What, I'm not the retard you're the retard. Some, '? @* appreciation for taking time out from the movie to call you, why don't you come here and say that. oh great some bof heads in uniforms are coming for a beating.. stop your hushing. Just thinking you ought to shoot this and license it to theaters to play before the feature starts. Should give cell-phone users in the audience an idea of how cell phone usage during a showing is perceived by others.

Lol! You are so right. Ok, sounds like a plan. now for a camera. :)

Ok, sticking texters in the last row of seats might not be popular. Sticking them in the lower level front seats with a high back so we can't see the phones might be popular with a few of them, but they might take up other pursuits. Sticking the high back seats elsewhere is just too much.

Now turning the phone lighting of the phone down to 1/2 a nit maximum might be something, but I don't think to many phones are setup for that, and in regular positions they can still be seen by audience members, however a screen filter that converted the light into invisible directional light (I can do that with one of the things I was working on). Then glasses that convert the light back into a visible light (not all light but the target frequencies). However, phones could have a second backlight to do away with the external filter eventually. However, this will he a bit cumbersome. I'm on my sleeping tablet at the moment, so it is hard to do good thinking. I will have to.think about a more straight forward solutiin later. But a narrow field directional screen might do away with the glasses and be in buildable into the phone. Having a photo chromatic overlay that reduces the range of light to half a not and aims that at the users eyes would drastically reduce the light pollution. The user actually aims the lit sweet spot towards their eyes. Such a privacy screen could be sold to patrons for a $1, maybe kes, because it is just a continuous roll film manufacturing process. 3M already does a basic horizontal privacy guard for years now, which is only a start. Combined with minimum lighting level on phones that could drastically reduce light output.

Starting to wake up, so have to go
