  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Kickstarter for electronic camera stabilizer (EasyGimbal)

Ouch. Michael, only for GoPro? :-(

Suggestion: Have categories between $2 and $599 in your Kickstarter.

yes, only for the GoPro. What lot's of people don't know, if you make a gimbal that works with different cameras, the set-up gets pretty complicated. Aside from balancing, there's a lot of tinkering with the settings required (gains etc.). It's not something the average user can do on his own.

that's actually looks awesome and simple. reduser alone may not do much though

i think u should have no problem funding your kickstarter if enough go-pro consumers know about this.
the key is to reach to those audiences.... and they are usually social & outgoing shooters who film a lot and are eager to make their footage looking better.

I shared this on Twitter. Good luck with your campaign!

Thanks for the comments and tweet. We are pretty close to reaching our goal.

If you want to see some more footage of the EasyGimbal, check out this BuzzFeed video (already has more than 310K views :)):

The majority of the moving shots were done with the EasyGimbal and the GoPro running at 120 fps 720p.

This is just fantastic, I REALLY want one. I love my Hero 3 and this would just give me some great options. Cant back you now, but I will spread the word. And I will buy one when they go to consumers. Seriously great!

Please though, can you have options to fund between 2$ and $599? I might have tossed $50 bucks your way if you had an option like that, you know $50 bucks and you get a hat with your logo, or a sticker or whatever. Add some more options I'll chip in.
