  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Keyboard Shortcut to take r3d Snapshot in Redcine-X ?

It would be good to have the default "filename/framenumber" thing back on snapshots again, too, without exporting through the "export" tab...
 
Oh I have a request too :-) Please do also add a "batch export" to export every single frame between in -and out-point, that would be great!

Now, it asks for filename, when you hit the snapshot button

It used to automatically name the snapshot even when you asked for the confirmation window (OSX)

The way I structure my stills, it is good to have the names corresponding fully with the R3D's

Can you not do that through the export window?

That will only have when "Prompt for Filename" is checked, or when you have configured your snapshot settings to use the currently selected export preset. Are either of these true?

Yes they are.

It used to be that the filename was suggested.
That was nice.

Maybe it's an OSX thingy.

I use "prompt for filename" not to have the filename, but to have an option to where I want the snap to be saved. Sounds probably stupid, but with 20+disks in use (nope, I cannot afford a server-room) it is good.
