The Xenon 25mm is a great addition to the Schneider set, and so is the 135mm, don't think I would really like to go below 18mm, but that one is been designed really nicely.

In overall I really like the Schneider Xenon's, they are sharp, yes, not Master Prime like, but then Master Primes are very Clinical, I like that, I prefer a very sharp, in fact the sharpest lenses out there, and then if need to add filtering on lens, or on Post, to soften image were needed, the Xenon's are surely not up there, but they are absolutely great lenses and when considering the price they become in my opinion some of the best Cine glass up to the 10k range, and they are only about half that price.

So, unless you have 15k and up per lens to spend on a set, I would not go with anything else but the Schneider Xenon's...

If you got that 12k-17k+ per lens, then go Leica Summicron's or second place go Ultra Primes...

If you got 20k-25k+ per lens, then go Leica Summilux's or second place go Master Primes.

Thanks a bunch, yeah I think I'm going to take the dive for the 25mm next, I've been hearing good things. Also I'm now looking into the Miller 25 because of the great words you had said about it. I've been in Africa with my gear, so I understand the need to hold up over the world, and since you travel a lot I take your word on it. Thanks again and cheers!

maybe it's a look you are going for but skin tone looks off to me, too much magenta and yellow. this is a great app for learning how to color correct.

http://www.dalegrahncolor.com/

Yeah, I stopped doing color by the numbers long ago... And now only grading, not correcting color, by how it looks on screen to me, and this particular shot was graded following this method, were also both color and saturation of them, was selected accordingly.

This image and its surrounding has been set were I like the most, so to me no more is needed, but I appreciate th feed back, and can surely understand that not everyone would fill the same, but the skin looks good as is, at list for me it does.

The set up for the next project... My first Action Fashion Film... Which will be entirely shot with the GL 70-200... :)
Cool, man. How's the Resolve editing/grading learning coming along?

I am actually starting to enjoy it, signed up for both the Ripple Training and FilmSimplified courses, and studying away... If I fill I'm there to do it when this first Action Fashion Film is done, I'll edit/grade it myself on DaVinci... :)

Nice! It's underrated. I'll be checking for your film.

Ketch,

Do you have any Rack Mountable RAIDs to sell? I remember you having some good friends at MaxxDigital?

I'm looking for a used 8 Bay.

Hope your doing well!

Hey Will,

Unfortunately I don't, I just had Maxx Digital build me a new 64TB Enterprise Drives ThunderRaid2 Tower for a Movie I am going to DP in the Mauritius for the next two months.

I could sale my small 4 Bay ThunderRaid Mini 16TB Enterprise Drives + Spare, but I don't have an extra 8 Bay to sale nor I know any one that does.

If need to just call Maxx Digital and ask for Ron Amborn, my good friend and CEO, I know He'll give you a discount on anything you need, just tell him I sent you and to do their best... :)

This is the new design I am proud to have helped in final color combination design... :)
