  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Okay, is it something that allows your Epic to synchronize with and/or trigger a camera flash or flash lights. I know you do alot of photo shoots :-)
 
Red Follow Focus system... wireless.

Super Modular Handle. Can mount on bottom, or replaces handgrip on any rig. On/off/record button. Programmable rocker. Couple of user buttons and/or a dial. Works wirelessly or via lemo to an adapter that replaces DSMC side handle. Can hold a Redvolt and will supply power if connected via adapter.

Ok, you say the most LOOKED AFTER and KEEP AN EYE OPEN, so I would guess the thing most of us EPIC owners don't have: the BOMB EVF? or is that just too easy? or some sort of REFLEX Viewfinder?

Ok, this just ROCKS!! You are AMAZING with Photoshop dude (probably way more than photoshop!).. that is perfect in every way! Even with the lighting/depth... WOW!! You are truly a master...

Ketch, I posted this on the other thread David started -- my guess is that Red advanced the concept of the R90, and now it does even more than expected -- maybe even multi-directional, and doesn't just rotate from 0 to 90 degrees, but actually in a variety of angles and can be controlled externally via remote. Would seem to be different and far superior to the motorized devices that are often placed at the end of a jib, more portable, better for still photography and in fact perfect to take advantage of Epic's DMSC capabilities.

Also, I could see the complete version of this being fairly "heavy" given the tough build quality of Red's accessories lately -- just like a large OConnor head, but more pieces and more advanced:)

And yes, depending on the price point and popularity of DMSC, this is definitely something that could be desired and used by "thousands" of Epic customers.

Jason, "EVEN" if some one had already guess it, I would not say it is so, it would be placed in line in order of which person did guess it, then the first one would be invited,
if the first one was not in a position to come then the second one would be invited and so on...



If the person that actually Guessed correctly could not come but wished for us to go to his/hers location we might also do that if we can be presented with an opportunity to do some amazing shooting there... ;)

That I can't say... but what I will say is that more then one of you guys did mention something in regards to it... Some of You guys are simply too good, and pay too much attention to what I do,
so you are of course either spot on or so close its not even funny!!

All I can say is that I can't wait for tomorrow's FEDEX truck to bring it over to Florence... ;)


Then I'll need to either get that Round Trip ticket to some one or book them for us to go on location some were, and start some serious fun shooting!!

Then we'll see if we can make some of this footage appear in 4k at IBC Amsterdam @ the RED Booth... ;)

I think it should be some kind of a shoulder or body rig ....because as far as I know Ketch has a shoulder problem...
