[Ketch Rossi]

A nice stop in New York City to pick up some Gear for the Brazilian workshop, and to see my buddy Daniel Dancian at BIG APPLE FILMS...

Daniel has all the RED toys, and a load of Lenses, Master Primes, Red Pro Primes, and the Beautiful Anamorphic... The HAWK lenses, which I'm considering for RAPE of a BEAUTY... Next Stop BRAZIL!!

[Luca Orlandi]

Wow great collection of toys!
L.

[Filip Orlandic]

Keep us informed of your anamorphic adventures...

[Ketch Rossi]

Keep us informed of your anamorphic adventures...

He he, I will Philip, on one of my next trips I'll be in Weiden Germany, HAWK's head quarters, and I'll hope to come back with some V-Lites...

[Ketch Rossi]

Okay, the workshop in Brazil has come to an end, and it was an absolute blast!!

The welcome, the hospitality, have been second to none!!

I'll be posting the pictures first as soon as we get our new SERVER up, also will post on my Face Book page, and of course we'll post few here with the link to the full gallery, then the videos will come too.

Brazil, and its people will be seriously missed, the girls more of course, but you already knew that...

Footage captured during the workshop on the Epic, will be however not been shown, as I might use it as part of my Fashion Reel for the NAB 4K Portrait competition if I can make it, either way you'll see it after NAB.

[Ketch Rossi]

As promised...

Here are some BTS pictures of the RED EPIC WORK SHOP IN CAMPINA BRAZIL... With the link to the full gallery of over 500 pics on our site and also on facebook... BTS Videos coming soon...

WHAT???!!??

I said few happy faces din't I?

[Sean R.]

Well, you always find something to smile about my friend. But it's good to see that you were not lacking any inspiration there

[Patrick Grossien]

Seems as if you had a great time as expected! I'm happy for you that all this is working out! Keep on rocking, mate!

[Raphael Varandas]

Congrats buddy, happy to know that you liked my country.
Unfortunately I couldn't be there.
See you again soon... I hope.
Parabéns João!
Cheers

[Lorenzo Straight]

Nice Ketch. I see you had very nice subjects to shoot

[Mohamed Younis]

You have every reason to smile XD. I wonder how many people here looked at the Epic before noticing the beautiful ladies.
Seems like you had a great time. I've always wanted to visit Brazil.
Can't wait for you to come to Egypt. I know you're working on the 3D movie but I wonder if we can maybe organize a workshop too. I only have 3 cameras, (Epic, Scarlet, and Red one M) but i'll be totally willing to let you use them in a workshop where young DOPs can get some hands on experience.

[Ketch Rossi]

Sean... I miss you man, I hope to be able to make it to NAB... If not you need to visit me in Rome, and this time bring that beautiful Lady of yours, She needs to see ITALY!!

Thanks guys, yes inspiration always finds me... Even if some times I find it...

The work shop was great and so were the people and Brazil!!As the year is now scheduling up fast and next year even busier, I will look in ways to organize myself so to still always been able to do this all over the world...I smell a new thread coming... Oh, working on the BTS videos, they are great as they bring info to those that were not there, the new company site should be up soon, the old one is back up again, but just temporarily, the new Server is a MONSTER so there is on way that we will experience a Crash for overload EVER AGAIN!!

Mohamed, it wil be pleasure to do a RED EPIC WORK SHOP in Egypt, you have my email so lets talk, also as far as the current 3D movie in the works there, it might give your new company the possibility of participation, and yes, don't worry, as you said, I am about the story as much as I am about making it 3D entertaining for content and visuals, and not just the effect.. For the Egypt work shop we would have to schedule it a bit on the fast side, as I have a trip to New Zealand that might keep me a while there, while I also have two more in Asia, so yeah, lets talk.

A tease on one of our Frame Grabs...

[Ketch Rossi]

Sorry guys that I was not able to get the footage ready for the 4K competition unfortunately, toto much traveling , and too much work, and also sorry, am sorry that I will not be able to make it to NAB this year, was really looking forward to it... but work is kipping me here in Rome... Once I can reveal what it is and how big this is then you will understand why I couldn't take off.

[brett ogden]

:sarcasm:

[Ketch Rossi]

He he, you have seen nothing yet, this year's Movie will see me at work with some of the most beautiful girls you ever seen... Many of them, unfortunately most of them Half Naked, (MMORE SARCASM) ...

Man you've got a tough job there Ketch, I really feel for you !

[brett ogden]

Ketch do you need a PA Will Work for food/Room hehe :sneaky2:
