Lets hook up for lunch at a less shitty place this timeIf you need anything while youre in town we're across the road from the skydiving club.
Ketch, have you skydived with EPIC before? I'm a little worried if hard chute opening could damage something inside the camera...
I mean the sudden stop when you pull your chute. Sometimes it's from 200km/h to 5km/h in a fraction of second.I would not worry about g-force.
The Epic is mostly solid state. The only moving parts are for cooling. There is plenty of airflow on the way down.
The fans are user replaceable.
The chances are slim to none I think.
welcome back to dubai ketch, and good luck!

Don't worry . Joe does this in his sleep. Joe has jumped with all formats of film including 16mm and 35mm . Id put my money on a mechanical film camera crapping out before a solid state camera in frefall. He has been jumping with the Epic on his head for a little while now. Check out this other footage.
This one of a parachute on fire - shot with the Epic
Check out the behind the scenes video of a laptop commercial in free fall which was Joe's first experience jumping with the Epic and shows Joe in action. http://www.skydive.tv/business.html
