  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ketch + Epic + Canon Mount

yep, got it.....i guess i have to use one to see how it works....and from the video i saw looks pretty spectacular...only some things like u/w i don't see how it would work w/out physical control to quickly change exposure. But maybe that's for another application....just hoping to have best of both worlds in a nikon mount....and RED may have an ear to that request......unless i'm a lone voice on that.

I remember one day when Jarred and Jim give me a tour on one of their stages set up for the Prototyping and testing, there were literally very single "L" series lens in there,
been tested, WOW what a LENS PORN that was, too bad I could not pay attention to it as I was too busy noticing all the EPIC and SCARLET cameras been built, or ben taken apart he he.
 
Wireless focus will come with the normal REDMOTE, you just need to use the little scroll wheel, vs. the proper sized focus knob of the REDMOTE PRO.

With this i'm ready Jarred, you can pack my X + canon mount, i'll pick it up personally.

Well, now we know how it works. Just pretend we know a feature exists and you may chime in to confirm it, without realizing that you never mentioned it before!
 
wireless focus....bloody hell, are you blokes trying to give us more then we need?.......oh wait, it's those crazy blokes at RED again, while your at it....how about the gyro stabilizing module?
 
Who's going to build a big follow focus wheel to attach to the little one on the REDMOTE?!!!!? Please somebody.
 
It was mentioned before, and while that's freakin' awesome I still want the big focus knob. I bet I will also want whatever else you guys decide to pack into the Pro version.

Really hoping for RedVolts or some other 24/7 redundant power solution, but I am certain you got that covered.

Is this going to be solved on Production EPIC's where you can have both the EVF & LCD plugin at the same time?

Daaaaammmn, Jarred this is the biggest news for me since the announcement of the Epic it self.
You guys rock sooo f...ing hard (fanboymode on like crazy, but I don't care this time).
So I don't give a damn about the 2k I have to spent for the titanium mount when this thing is talking to the FFnob nicely.
