I need to buy or build a shoulder mount with two KS-8 gyros on it for the Epic X, to be able to do shots from moving jeeps, boats, helos, etc.

Are there any off-the-shelf shoulder mounts that can easily accommodate the gyros? Any suggestions on how to buy or put together a rig like this? Oh, and I need to do this as cheaply as possible.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hello Tom. I believe what you are looking for is the HR-1 DELUXE or THE ACROBAT.
Have a look on my website for more and do not hesitate to ask me about any questions you might have.
THE ACROBAT is a new consept specially designed for the Scarlet and Epic but Iam still waiting to finalize it.
Both are very affordable
Thank you

Constantine. whats the delivery time to the US?

Or does it include airfare so I can pick it up in your beautiful country?! :)

Ha ha ha Next thing you are going to be asking is to have a date with my girlfriend viewed on my videos:gun::emote_whack::furious3:
Are you refering to the HR-1 D OR THE ACROBAT?
The delivery time is around 4 weeks from placement of order but now that Christmas is in between it might be 10 days more.
About the ACROBAT.
This rig is designed for the new REDS.
ITS also designed for gyros.
It has some more improvements now, like an vibration isolator for the gyro mount, so it wont effect your EPIC scarlet gear.
also a new shoulded pad that expands and locks around your body is on the way.
This way 3 AXIS GIMBAL CAN work and have pan tilt and roll with out movement.
Also a version of a 1-3 point bungee cord can conect to the system and get hanged from 1-3 points on a heli or othe vehicle so you wont have to carry it on you and it will give best isolation from vibrations of any frequence.

Last Iam waiting for the first Epics to be delivered to their owners so I can see if everything is up to specs though the only thing Id like to know it if you can split the rig in half and connect in between by wire.
All the rest is straight fwd.

The price of the ACROBAT and HR-1D are low cause I know they are new concepts and people have to trust them first.
Hopefully soon you will have first reports and reviews from buyers so that will help.
But the prices will rise in 2010 about 20% at least cause this is very costly to build.
Any more info please contact me.
Thanks
