  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Keep it light

I ordered a Raven (and sold my Scarlet mx) because I'm looking for a better compromise between image quality and "grab and shoot" capability. As much as I loved my Scarlet, I rarely used it for personal, suddenly inspired moments. Riding a bike in town, or hiking in nature, I could have a DSLR or a C100 easy on a backpack, but not my Scarlet.
I'm investigating lightweight solutions for those days.

I'm sure I'll buy a couple of Pag lite or similar. But I wonder what happen if I carefully wire to Red power lemo a letus helix battery and velcro it to the Base I/O?
Or this, maybe, with the added benefit of a D-tap: http://cvp.com/index.php?t=product/powerlok_bp-u60-65wh
Anybody who happen to know better than me electricity, care to comment?

And I'm sure it is very lightweight. But for everyday use? Not sure I'd feel comfortable with a lipo next to my head when shooting from shoulder. And you have to have a loud voltage checker, isn't it?

When I want real light on my Dragon. I use a W.C. fixed back- $99 and then velcro a Letus Helix Battery with a Red Lemo. Works great. Plan to do something similar with weapon when I get them.

-Do you have any kind of voltage info on touch lcd?
-Did you go 2 pin Letus Lemo to 1B Red Lemo or cut cable and swapped connector?
-Can you tell me how long it lasts on your Dragon (Driving touch lcd as well?)

Many thanks!

You can see voltage on the monitor screen and you can use any silent lipo checker.
