This jvc+pl mount adaptor.

example setup:
Jvc-hd200 no/ lens (8,000) + 16mm pl mount adaptor (4,000) + firestor hd-100- 100 gigs (2,000)
Jvc package: 14,000 total.

Limited to 720/60p and 16mm lenses. It will be interesting to see how well this sells considering how underpowered this combo is compared to Red.

Pretty decent results compared to something like a Redrock or Brevis adaptor. I am pleasantly surprised. Excellent sharpness.

Too bad the colors looks so crappy. The B&W was pretty nice, though.

JVC's HD cameras have crappy color... But that's just my opinion.

I guess I should add that they did get some good results though. Overall that's some pretty clean 720p HDV and a lot of fine detail was visible so they did a good job keeping it in focus. Color was a little off and a little flat. The sepia tone on the dog near the end just looked bad. B&W looked nice but could have used a bit more contrast in some shots.
