Just who is the General Error anyways???

I am using a Intel Mac Pro quad with 4 gigs ram and OS X 10.4.11
FCP 6.0.1

we shot some 4k 2:1 footage, and almost every time I drag the H into the time lineand let the sequence match my footage, I get a "general error" and FCP crashes. I restart and get one or two shots on the time line and then it crashes again.....any ideas?

FCP 6.0.2 is minimum I believe, plus maybe you also need to have the latest Red QT plugin?

fcp 6.03 qt 7.5, i believe there were issues with 6.01 ( it was a very brief update followed quickly by .02 , then .03)

Sounds like QT 7.5 is the culprit - at least until B16.
