Just shot pretty ladies in slow-mo for a one-shot model agency commercial. Shot on Epic, 15 takes, a bit f'd in post, but what the hell.

Staging is interesting and very well done, but if these are supposed to be fashion models it's, I must say, not exactly elegant or the right tone for that market, where the clients tend to women and homosexuals, very sophisticated and genteel, not "Red Blooded all American Males".
Are you selling models to bikers and construction workers? Truck drivers? Do they hire models now? If so your piece is right on target.
I personally find it degrading to the women and more than a bit tawdry. It makes me think the"models" are selling themselves as porn actresses, not models.
BTW - Styling and makeup both look extremely cheap and low-class. if you want to work in fashion, learn something about those things first.
wow, pretty harsh words. You have no idea of the client, the requirements, the budget, etc. I've seen plenty of big budget, mainstream modeling commercials that looked like shit. What makes you an expert?
I thought it was great but I'm a "Red Blooded All American".... This is going to stand out more then some lame model posing elegantly for the camera..
Bravo!
I have worked on and off in fashion marketing either on the client side or later in photography and related videography for 15 years. We do fashion video on a regular basis, some have budget, some much less. It's not about money, it's a choice. Does one sexualize women in a vulgar, exploitive way, or does one bring out their beauty in a respectful celebration of all that makes them magical? Both cost the same.
Fashion clients I know would find this piece utterly repugnant. I'm harsh in big part because I feel bad for the girls. It reeks of sleaze and exploitation.

Obviously these aren't your clients then...
How do you know he isn't shooting for say http://suicidegirls.com/ or http://www.godsgirls.com/ or http://burningangel.com/ or just a punk based model agency. Your making a lot of assumptions, obviously this isn't a glamour piece. I'm not saying it makes women look good or that it's right, I'm just saying the content may serve the purpose, we don't know.
No need in tearing down his work. The girls looked good in a punk rocker sense. If that was his attention, then he nailed it...
Are you talking about the speed ramp/jump cuts?a bit f'd in post
