... only to be brought right back down.

Got an allocation e-mail from RED today but only for a touch LCD, not the brain :(... I shall continue to wait patiently.

Got one too buddy. On the same boat, on the waiting game.

Waiting for a Red is like waiting for a meal in your favourite restaurant. You wait, you get hungrier, impatient, but when that meal arrives, it tastes even better: like nothing else- nothing else compares. I'm also waiting for my meal, am hungry as h"ll, but when it comes, I will devour it, I tell you! :)

Or you have thrown the table (REDUSER) over, screamed at the top of your lungs (ALL CAPS) cancelled your order and stormed out, all the while other patient customers look at your in strange amazement.

Then, as soon as you walk out the door, the waiter comes out with the first course, only to see a complete disaster, the promptly asks is anyone else would like this dish, and every hand in the place goes up.

:001_tt2:

got my LCD allocation email too. We're 3205 and ordered on 8th. RED's picking up the pace. :)

I would love to get an allocation e-mail for the Touch, it's the only accessory I'm missing :)

True... except you pay the bill first.
:)

Tell me about it :) Its my most expensive "meal" ever but its going to fill and satisfy this empty stomach for a few good years, I hope :)

The good thing is you can talk directly to the chef if you want some extra sauce or if something is not as you liked. I like this kind of service!

I know that the time stamp followed by the sales order number are supposedly factors involved with determining when our orders are supposed to be processed. I also know that people who were at the event take priority, but there are clearly people getting parts of their orders before others. It's quite bewildering.

Yup, I'm trying to do the RED ZEN patience thing. Only e-mailed my rep once so far. I'm 1122 and no info, nothing allocated. Ordered on 3rd via phone right away. I don't get why such higher numbers get things allocated. I mean, I'm stoked for them. But why does an order supposedly 2000 after mine and 5 days get allocated first?

Got my e-mail for the LCD as well ordered, nov 4th. As I told my rep, I have not much use for and LCD only....thats why i ordered the package and not separatley. Asked to pay now and if they could hold on to my LCD untli the rest is ready to ship, so I wouldn't have to pay extra for the shipping to europe. No answer yet

I hear you, my friend. And by no means is it a criticism, I'm sure there are reasons for their methods. The numbers that have been designated to our orders have to have meaning, otherwise why have hem. And with the lack of information on how the process truly works, we start to speculate. It's only natural. Speculation is born out of the lack of information. You know the saying about an idle mind, LOL.

I'm going to go with 'Alright, next 45 in line get allocated, and then we'll draw numbers out of the hat for the next 5.' /sarcasm

Trust me, It was killing me to not order for 5 days, because I knew there would be delays, but I didn't want to put down a deposit before I was certain I could send all the money to RED at the same time.

I would like to interject a little RED wisdom here if I may...
If you might, possibly, maybe just could possibly maybe might be able to get a Scarlet/Epic/DSMC module in the future, buy it now and place your deposit. That way you get in line up front so that when you do decide, you will get it before you would have if you waited to get the ducks in a row. And if you end up not wanting it, everything is fully refundable before shipping!
