Just finished filming indie feature NORMAL

[Ken Willinger]

I just wrapped DPing an indie film called NORMAL in southern Rhode Island. We had a great cast and crew and filmed the majority on a stage with sets in a black box theatre. I used my Epic X with RPP's and a set of Century Swing Shift lenses. The film is a psychological thriller. The director has just released the first screen grab. This was a fun job for a really low budget affair. Indie film making at its best.

Very nice!

Good luck with the project!

Thanks Tom!

I guess the director is in a good mood. He released another frame from the film.

Another still has been released...

Here's another screen grab from the film...

It's exciting that the director is releasing some of the screen grabs... this is of the main character in the film played by actor Michael Reed.

Got another frame to share...

The director keeps releasing screen grabs... so I post them. I'm pretty happy with how stuff is looking. Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts.
Cheers...

A lot of their faces look kind of flat.

Thanks for checking out the frame grabs Michael. I lit to the scene and some of those scenes required the lighting to have a bit less contrast, like in the scene with the lightbulb as the source or the dining room scene. But I see what you are saying.
Sometimes you have to make compromises when you only have 11 days to film a feature with minimal staff and funds!

Here's one more frame grab that the director has released. He said this is the last one until the trailer comes out. Thanks again for looking and for the comments.

You guys have already seen the frame grabs posted here but Fangoria did a blurb about NORMAL on their website today with some "exclusive" pictures (you have seen more than they've posted). Cool beans!

Hmmm... looks like there is a frame that's not been posted here.
