I just had a thought - Red Team, have a look at the PlayStation Portable's analogue thumb joystick for possible inspiration for what to put on Epic and Scarlet:
This idea came to me after reading the other thread about focusing Epic. With zoom selected (before it was 1:1), the R1 joystick would move in segments to pan around the zoomed in image.
Now, with 1:1 pixel zooming, if you had the ability to move the joystick gently (analogue sensing) to pan slowly in 1:1 mode, or move it further from centre for faster panning (but still smooth in motion), it would make for a very cool interface. This same analogue sensing joystick could be used to manipulate curves gradually in camera, as well as a host of other functions that would benefit from a non-digital joystick (such as focus point selection in the autofocus parts of the system when they are implemented). Another analogue use could be as a pseudo follow-focus controller, again with small movements from centre giving a slow focus change and a larger movement giving a faster focus change.
The possibilities are virtually endless....
Placed under one's thumb on a grip this would be ideally placed for solo shooters.
