Hi All,

I've posted the 3rd and final segment of my conversation with John Leonetti, ASC. In this six minute episode, John and I talk about the state of screening dailies in present day Hollywood and I ask him whether he had a DIT on set while shooting “Hybrid”. I then get down to brass tacks and ask John my two most pressing questions; his feelings about the future of shooting movies on celluloid and if he thinks the RED digital cinema camera is revolutionary enough to change the balance of power in Hollywood.

If you like this series, please forward to all you think might be interested. As always, drop me a line with any questions or feedback you might have.

Best regards,
Lawrence "Larry" Jordan

Hi Lawrence,

I have watched all three episodes with great interest. The measured and considered approach is much appreciated. Thanks for making them available.

So sad and touching seeing a film maker realize how film is on its way to extinction but still embraces the new technologies aswell. Good interview, thanks!

Thanks again guys.

Thanks again guys.

Yea, I thought John's sentiments were similar to a lot of people I know.

"Film is dead, long live film".

But I thought his opinion about RED having the ability to change the balance of power were even more interesting.

Viva la revolution!
