Jim,

Would you consider doing a TED Talk? It sure as heck would be amazing to hear what you have to say about RED, your philosophy on life, or anything else you have to say.

Just dreaming. Keep knocking my socks off man!

Matt

I think the general idea is that Jim has a different Ted to talk for him :-)

As for socks, mine are already somewhere in the next county!

Have to agree with Mike, even though it would be entertaining. Ted was TED before TED was.

+ 1 - I loved James Cameron's TED Talk ... the "other" Jim's would be fantastic :P

I'd love to see a documentary about the start-up of RED and get a glimpse behind the scenes at some of the turning points in REDs history; like for example the first time they got an image out of Frankie. That would be awesome.

Now that is what I'm talking about! That would be my dream come true.

I don't do Ted.

Jim

Hey Jim, I remember a while ago (maybe a year or so ago) rumblings that your alma mater wasn't up for having you back for speaking about business. I'm sure there are a TON of people here who'd like to listen to your business musings. A secret "Invite Only" (for us redusers) RED Talk. :)

We already get that. One of the perks of being a Reduser.

I'm pretty boring... nothing to see here, move along.

ha ha . LOL.. You are certainly way far from boring. And hopefully you will do a Ted talk based on risk taking, the innovative spirit, drive in the face of adversity, competitiveness, manufacturer customer relations, and you love of capturing historical moments and events.

All I know is Jim is fun to talk to one on one. He's very passionate about what they are doing at RED. I'm one of those people who gets a bit freaked out speaking to relatively large audience. Not sure if it's the same with Jim but when I talk I get bored hearing myself very quickly. :-)

That's why at Reduser events in the past I have elected to not speak much.
