Sorry guys I just feel stupid and don’t know what to do...
if anybody know what should I do take me advise
http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?183734-Red-Gemini-5K-Brain-Only&highlight=Gemini+brain

I transferred money to this guy (friend of this guy actually, because I needed bank invoice for complete payment)
All communication was good before moment he told me that money arrived to his account and he will send Gemini via DHL overnight delivery to LA from UK.... after that he cut off all communication...

At this time he is keeping silence around 30 hours but before he get money he answered less then 5 minutes after any question

Maybe his mailbox was hacked and even he actually don’t know what’s happening... but guy talked wth good knowledge of question in “our kitchen”...

All I had is bank invoice on another person and photo of his passport
I’m non US/UK/EU CITIZEN and all we are COVID blocked now so I don’t know
I bough here set of Leica’s and batch of accessories with nothing problems....

I was chatting here with a different guy also selling gemini and Komodo and it was too good to be true. Telling me that he dont want paypal, only wire transfer- decision from my side was made. Im very sorry to read this and hopefully it will all be ok!

Thanks Adam! This forum full of cool people and helps me enough to get into RED world, but it seems not only good people are exist here...

Hi Sergey.

Sorry to hear that. There is no need for him to call and tell you that he received the payment, if he wants to cheats you. It could be maybe he is busy or some other reason he couldn't contact you, but keep in faith. I know it's easy to say, but stay focus and wait 1 or 2 day. Since you have the Bank slip with you and passport details so maybe if everythings goes wrong, you could complain to the police.
Did you made a video call and talk to him and saw the camera? If you have the serial number for the camera or any other details, you could call Red office and talk to them, maybe they can tell you who is the real owner.
Hope everythings goes well soon.

This is a site for trusting people not to cheat. We have do something about it.

I've bought and sold items on this forum and for the most part I think people here are honest but yeah you have to be careful doing transactions specially high value. Wiring funds to somebody's account is the worst thing you can do specially internationally. If you use a reputable intermediary like PayPal etc. you can at least file a complain and hope to get your money back. For high value transactions I've used escrow.com and it has worked out well for both parties. Pay or split with the other party the extra fee for PayPal or Escrow for the peace of mind. My 2cents...

Sorry to hear that Sergey. I was looking at that item as well but didn't communicate with him. It seemed like a good deal but not too-good-to-be-true. I have backed out of a deal previously when the seller asked me to transfer to his son's paypal account (he had a different surname...). I think it's a bit of a flag when sellers don't use an account in their own name. Really hope that it's just a misunderstanding and the brain has been shipped.
