Hey, I just watched this really fantastic and creepy movie last night at the Melbourne International Film Festival. I am somewhat of a horror buff and it really impressed me.
Anyway, the look of the film is amazing. It's got a very realistic, yes stylistic look, with a very neutral curve. It evoked the time period it's set in (including looks of movies of the period) but also felt very modern.
If anyone knows anything about the project I would love to hear about it. The director's previous film, The Myth of the American Sleepover, was shot on RED. My best guess is this was shot on Alexa or film.
