Issues with inaccurate Sigma Cine Zoom Aperture display on Red Epic-W

I just purchased the Sigma Cine Zoom 50-100mm for use with my Red Epic-W. The lens is great but I'm having issues with the aperture display on the Red. The Sigma passes on the aperture data so that the footage will have the aperture data in the metadata. However, the aperture information doesn't match up with the aperture that lens shows. If I have the lens wide open at a T2, the Red will show it as a T1.8, and it's totally off throughout the range. Is there a way to calibrate it or fix it in anyway? I'm not sure of this is a lens issue or something in the Red that needs to be fixed. Thoughts?

Sounds like the Red is seeing it as a standard EF 50-100 zoom that reports in F stop and does not know the Cine ver reports in T stops.

The metadata is always in F-stops right? Or is there a function to change it to T-Stops?

Ahhh, never thought about that. I guess that kind of (potentially) answers the question.
