Hello fellow red users this is my first post on here, and have been a Red Raven owner since November 2018.

I have a 120gb red mini mag and pretty much since I've had it I have had issues offloading media I can get it offloaded but usually after restarting the computer sometimes more than once, I've tried using just the finder and also another program called forklift. at first I thought it was just an issue with my g-technology daisy chains and thought offloading it to the HD first then onto the external would aliviate the issue but it hasn't. I'm running a 2017 imac so it's not old and I have no issues offloading any other cards from my Ursa mini or photography work it's only an issue with the mini mag I have a G-tchnology mini mag reader.

So I'm just curious if anyone else has ran into this issue and figured out a fix for it?

Thanks
-Jeremy

P.S. I hope this is the right thread for this wasn't really sure since I didn't see a mini mag specific thread.

I don't understand - so you can't find the mini-mag or it just refuses to dump until you've restarted your computer several times?

yes it will freeze during transfer it sees the drive but always seems to freeze up during transfer

Is the drive something that needs/has an AC power? I know when I used the old 1.8" mags and offloaded to my computer with other drives plugged in, the mag reader needed its AC power to chug along.
