I was on the road all week long... I shot a ton of footage. I came home and started the transcode process. All seemed to work great until we got to the last two cards. At the half way point of the next to last card, all of the clips in RCX say "finished with error" (in status column) and then another column (Details) reads "Internal Error."
I don't get this! It was working perfectly, and all of a sudden, it stopped! Any ideas? (Again, the first 6 RedMags worked great! Half of the 7th went great! The remainder of the 7th and all of the 8th cards posted that error.)
This is for a broadcast client, so after speaking with Dan Duran, I shot everything at 29.97, and was exporting to 59.94i DNxHD 1080.
Also, I noticed that I shoot with a 24 hour Time-code clock. It's easier for me, I grew up in Europe, and the military. However, when I export to Avid DNxHD from RCX, the TC isn't the same. For example: I have a shot at 16:01:36:20 in the original R3D. The DNx QT has: 02:21:02:04. That's not even close! I have "absolute TC" selected for my output... Any ideas here? I would be great to give the client the clips with the same name and TC.
Thanks for the help! I'm trying to get this finished this evening for a Fed Ex shipment tomorrow, and a Saturday delivery!
