  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Issue with latest version of RED Creative LUTs in FCP

I installed the latest version (1.0.1) of the RED Creative LUT Kit, and it's not recognized by FCP. I'm getting an error that says the LUTs are corrupted or were already installed. The previous version works as expected.

Is anyone else having an issue with 1.0.1, either in FCP or other software? From the changelog, it looks like I can just use the previous version, but I'm curious as to what the problem might be.

I don't know where FCPX stores Luts. But If the First Version of the "Red Creative Lut Kit" aren't linked to grades in any current project or there are no "New" Luts added in the Latest version, Why not just delete the folder entirely from their current directory then reinstall the new version.


Then from now on install the latest versions in a separate folder with a unique name.
