Hi everyone,

-When I select CUDA, playback is choppy, even at 1/16 resolution.
-When I select OpenCL, playback is smooth even at full resolution.
-I have the latest NVIDIA Studio Drivers installed (version 532.03). (and tryed with older ones)
-My GPU is properly detected in Redcine-X:
  • CUDA Compute Capability: 8.9
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Multiprocessors: 24
In DaVinci Resolve, CUDA works fine, reaching around 65-70% GPU usage when applying effects

My setup:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-14600KF (3.50 GHz)
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060
  • OS: Windows 11
  • Storage: SSD for media playback
  • Camera: RED RAVEN

I also tried:
  • Clearing cache in Redcine-X
  • Setting "High Performance" in NVIDIA Control Panel
  • Checking my SSD/HDD speeds (ensuring playback issues weren’t due to disk bottlenecks)
Does anyone know why CUDA is underperforming in Redcine-X? Could this be a software issue? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
