  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi people. Anyone that owns a RED EPIC know what an ISP Board is? I sent my camera in for matinance and they said the ISP board - PWA / BOM and FRONT ENCLOSURE INSEPARABLE ASSEMBLY needs to be replaced for $3,010!!! Should I be worried or is this one of those technician scams? It just doesn't make sense that something that expensive is broken. I'm extremely cautious with my camera, clean it after every use and it's never been dropped or tossed around as I'm anal about keeping it like new. How did this happen?
 
Technician Scam? Where did you send the unit for service?
