I am waiting on an electric truck/van option. Heck, an even better idea is a hybrid wherein the gas engine doubles as a on-set genny when parked.

Hmmm, Honda, can you install a 6500EU genny or higher in a Hybrid Van package?

Hows maintenance on these since it is technically a Mercedes ? and would the Dodge variant have the same reliability with cheaper maintenance by Dodge instead of the big M ?

these have always been built by mercedes, when mercedes bought chrysler, they started selling the sprinter under the dodge label....they were still built in germany....the sprinter is part of the commercial mercedes branch....not all dealers sell them or service them....
freightliner is another seller....same car, just re-badged....
