Is this just my perception or is Red being super tight lipped about the 50-150mm lens availability. Any time in the past I've ever emailed Red about anything I've got information right away, like "don't expect to see that item for the next couple of months at the earliest or we're shipping about two dozen a month". Not on the 50-150mm. Strange silence this time.

I've noticed posters in the past wondering and no information from Red. So if you received yours, when did it arrive approximately and what camera # are you?

Gibby says he has one, if I understand his posts right, but I think the main thing is that RED has decided to re-think their whole lense program based on the response on the 18-50...

I sure like where they're heading, @ the same time: There is very little glass to be found @ the moment. DAMN YOU RED USERS!

Finner, there you go again. you where proven wrong when you insisted the 18/50 was Just a rehoused Sigma and I'm sure you are mistaken again on the 50/150. I still love you though as does my mother.

I have a Red 50-150 and it's quite nice. The build quality is about the same as the 18-50, but it has a smoother feel to it. But it's not in the same league as the upcoming 18-85. That thing is like butter.
