Is there anyway to view RED on a PowerPC?

Hi can anyone tell me if there is anyway to view RED on a PowerPC G4 or is it fact that all the software only runs on Intel based Macs?

... if not... why not (will there be?),.. there must be plenty of people who haven't upgraded yet... surely?!

Sorry, there are no plans to support G4 or other non-Intel processors.

PPCs simply don't have the power. You can do offline editing if someone can render the footage to DVCProHD for you on an Intel machine.
