  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there any fuse in RED?

If you are referring to the AUX ports, they are protected by a 1.5A Current limiter. If you were to have an over current situation, such as a short or excess current draw, the port will shut down until the offending load is removed. Once the CL cools down, it will resume normal operation.

You may be forward thinking... in the event of a cable failure, what if scenario... I would imagine there are a few other CLs populating the boards at various points.

Asked this question before regarding "what if" when they specified the dual power pins on custom/handmade power cables, but didn't get an answer.

Hope Red will let us know.
