Hello Everyone,
This could be something simple and I'm just completely missing it, or it's just wish full thinking.

I am lookiny for an easy way to copy my .rmd files from one backup drive to another. I am making 3 copies of the footage through R3D Manager. Then I import one of those copies into RedCineX, and do a color grade. However this only creates the .RMD's on one of my copies. This copy is what I send to a Lab at the end of each day for trans-coding, & Dailies. I have tried clipfinder, but I don't think that it fully supports the .RMD's just yet. The only other thing I can think of is, load up a 2nd copy into RCX, and reapply my looks from my presets. I'm just afraid that by doing this I'm going to miss out on any of the little tweaks that I may have adjusted after I created my presets. Any Thoughts would be great full. Thanks!

Copying .RMDs over

Copying .RMDs over

Hi Scott,

Use aasync: Create a sync definitions with the source folder being the one with the .RMDs, Destination folder the one you want them to copy to, choose
Sync Mode: Default
Checksum Policy: Never

It should take a few minutes at most, but both folders have to be exactly the same except the .RMDs in the Source folder.

Let me know how that works.
