I wonder if there is a costeffective solution, yet simple to setup for one person. I would like to have two stands with a 4.5m bar between them or similar. The stands only needs to be abble to reach 4m tall. The maximum load I wish to put on it is around 15kg. But the obstacles for me is that I dislike hoisting little bit on each side until perfekt. I loved to be able to just run the bar up and down both from the same location.

Does anybody have any suggetsions?

Joel, not sure exactly what you are describing but I'll put this out there anyway.

I have two identical step ladders with an extension flat-piece that hooks on to each one. I set the ladders to the same height and just insert the extension through one and then push over to the other at the same step-level. Mine hooks to each ladder and while this is overkill for what you are looking for, allows me to walk on the flat-piece if need be.

Originally meant as a scaffold for a house painter, but I bought it to use as a dolly track.
